TQ 001 An Introduction to Quality - CMI Approved
The Topic 'Introduction to Quality' might sound rather basic but in fact it is not. Experience shows that there are literally dozens of definitions, several of them being quite different from the others. This is not an exercise in semantics but is intended to show that there is more, much more, to the topic of quality than meets the eye. It is a common misconception that quality is all about cracked castings, chipped cups, defect reports and blame. This unit is intended to show that it is very much more than that. In fact these are minor issues when looking at the big picture. We intend to show that the right policy where quality is concerned can make the difference between being successful and profitable or even at the worst extreme, being put out of business altogether.
Quality Fundamentals is entirely eLearning based but students are encouraged throughout to apply the principles of Workplace Learning. It is packed with quizzes as gateways to progression. At the end of the course there is a final quiz. On satisfactory completion of the quiz you will be a awarded with the Quality Fundamentals Certificate. The course is broken down into bite sized sections with a short quiz at the end of each section. Designed to be viewed from either PC, laptop, tablet or mobile phone, you can study any time of day and pick up from where you left off.
